Brief Background of the College Bagharpara Degree College, Bagharpara, Jessore is an old Traditional educational institution in the area. This college is situated in the Bagharpara Upazilla head quarter and at the heart of Bagharpara Pourasava in a Charmin environment. It was established in 1972 by the heroic freedom fighter, interested in education and still spreading the light of education with fame. In 1972(01.07.0972)humanities, Commerce and Science department was recognized in intermediate level by Board of Intermediate and Secondary education, Jessore in 1990 (01.07.1990) B.A, B.S.S, B.B.S course were affiliated by Rajshahi University in 1998 H.S.C(Business Management) curriculum was affiliated by Bangladesh Technical Education Board, Dhaka. In B.A (Honours) Curriculum Bengali and Accounting Subjects were affiliated in 2011-12, Political Science and Sociology were Subject affiliated in 2012-13 by National University. Honourable member of the Parliament Janab Ranajit Kumar Roy (88-Jessore 4) is acting as the president of the college Governing Body. We wish its all round development in prosperity.
